Crating & packaging
Machinery, equipment, artwork, and oversized gear do not ship in cardboard. We build crates to the item, on site, ready for a freight dock.
What the job covers
- Custom wood crates and skids for machinery, equipment, and instruments.
- Artwork, glass, stone, displays, and irregular oversized items.
- Freight-ready marking: fork entry, weight, orientation, and stackability.
How we do it
- Skids and runners are sized to the real load so a forklift cannot punch through the base.
- Internal bracing and blocking transfer weight to the frame and keep the item from shifting in any direction.
- Protection is layered - foam and edge protection for shock, moisture barriers and desiccant for humidity, anti-static wrap for electronics.
- Crates are built to open cleanly at the destination, so the receiver is not prying it apart with a crowbar.
Good to know
- This is freight and non-household goods packaging, not moving boxes.
- Send photos and rough dimensions and you get a price before anything gets cut.
