The punch list every Gainesville seller should knock out first

Buyers notice the small things first: the door that sticks, the wobbly towel bar, the patch of drywall someone fixed with toothpaste. None of it is expensive to fix, but all of it shapes how a house feels in the first ten minutes.

Start with doors and hardware. Loose handles, sticking doors, and dead latches read as neglect even when the rest of the house is solid. Most of it is an hour of work and a few dollars of hardware.

Then handle drywall. Nail pops, anchor holes from mounted TVs, and dings behind doors patch and texture out cleanly. Skipping them almost always shows up on the inspection report.

Finally, look at anything mounted: blinds, shelving, curtain rods, closet systems. If it sags, tighten it or remount it into studs. It is the cheapest confidence a buyer can get.
